Well I had these under cover plans to swap a my newly acquired 12-Valve NV4500/NV241 combo into my 79 K20

But I've decided to sell this truck :( to build a K-30 or V-3500 my only requiremnts being NO RUST and it must be an A/C truck this "new" truck will get the diesel running gear and a full resto

OR I will be swapping said drivetrain into my 98 burb which is getting an SAS . Hi pinon kingpin 60 with 36" spring spacing . the current 454/4l80e would then go to my 75 model stepside:doah:

Also my Superduty will be going bye bye as well to make way for a new 6.7 cummins powered ram

Any ideas or comments???? I love that Brown K-20 but I'm thinking a Nice 30 series would be a good addition . Also i'm in negotions to buy a 69' model K-5 which is the truck I've always wanted but never seem to be able to attain:mad: so I forsee big changes arond my yard in the next few months .......... geez before you know it I'll be like allen(mountainexplorer):doah:

put the cummins/nv4500/241 into a k30 and put a hp60 into it i think that would be sweet and completely unique...then you could sell the chevy 60 or just start collecting them like *cough* allen *cough*

I think a crew cab would be the ultimate for the 12v swap!!!

Not to worry the stepside and the yellow truck will be staying:D as for the 36" pad Hipi-60 ...well i have one thats the only reason I'd rather have a 32" version but what ya gonna do??

Well I have 3 all ready not including the ford 60 but mine are all in "use"

i'd say stick to your plan, stick the cummins in the 79 k20, that would be sweet.

I'm wanting a 30/3500 series truck for the stronger frame and I'd like to get a 4-door For the room My New Dodge is gonna be a regular cab and the burb is gonna be a wheeling rig

well if you want a 4dr, thats esay then just find a crewcab. thats what I"m going with... and it will hopefully get a 6bt someday.

well It ain't even gone yet and i'm already having sellers remorse:doah: it's a nice truck maybe I should keep it:(

I know what you mean, i'm having remorse for my 85 and I'm not even 100% sure I want to sell it. The only reason I would is when I get the 81 crew built I won't have need for it and I want a k5 for offroading and I know the wife wont let me have 3 of my own rigs.

I'm pretty lucky in that respect i've got a ton of projects and the wife says nada about it and as long as the house payment and Insurance is paid I can pretty much
do what I want with my projects

we just bought a house a few months ago so alot of my project are on hold for a while :o

yeah mine were for awhile we've been in our new house almost a year now it takes about 2-3 months to line every thing out but its worth it in the end
