Dont worry not asking how to do it just making sure i am getting the right parts. :D I was looking around on rockauto.com because they seem cheap compared to other places. I want to change the ball joints and tie rod ends and u joints in the front, all with good Moog stuff. What kind of U-Joints should I use and where should I get them? It is for a 10 bolt front. Here is my shopping cart so far on rockauto.com:
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php just click on shopping cart in the middle and it should show what I have in there.

Also, I bent my linkage in the front when I was wheeling (not sure what it is officially called :doah: , draglink I think??) and ORD has the beefier ones which one would I need??

Thanks for the help!

Nothing shows up in the shopping cart thing:confused:

If you're talking about the steering running across in front of the axle that's the tie rod. Draglink runs from your steering box to the driver side knuckle unless you're running crossover.

Ill post up the part numbers tomorrow. So i dont need to buy the tie rod ends if I get the tie rod from ORD then since it comes with them????

So I would only need 2 lower ball joints and 2 uppers?

How about U-Joints whats good?

Ok I found the part numbers quick:

I'm pretty sure the ORD tie rod does not come with ends. You may want to call them to verify, also the only one that will work with standard 1/2 ton side tie rod ends is:
1 1/8" x .219 wall - Ideal for tight clearance applications with plenty of strength but smaller diameter. Available threaded 3/4" fine thread for heim joint applications or 7/8" fine thread for standard tie rod or draglink end applications. We've used this tube size with heim joints to fit between the leaf spring and the knuckle arm on D44 axles.

The other ones I think require 1 ton ends. If you can find some good Spicer joints for the axles, that's best without getting into heavy duty stuff like OX & CTM's. I don't why the damn font changed while typing this:screwy:

Oh ok I am starting to get all of this nonsense now. Well when I get these if you are just dying to help out I will buy the beer haha!

Yea i have only done it once and that was in shop class a few years ago but I am pretty sure my buddy has a press I can use if not I will get one or rent one. I just dont know where I will do it cuz I live in an HOA chitty community :( . Maybe at work haha
