Changing King pin's on D60

Anyone have some advise on the best way to get the old king pins out??

I don't think the ones that are in there are that bad but I have all the parts to replace them.
 
Heat, and lots of torque.
If you need the 7/8" allen I might have one in the garage that you could use.



Did you post the free stuff on SCBD?
If so tell me how to get to your house......:D
 
If the old ones look OK, its probably a lot less headache to leave them in there, and just replace the bushings and springs!
 
Soaked in PB Blaster for 2 days, mine came right out, I was kinda suprised. Not the horror story that I've heard, although I imagine it does happen.

X4, changing kingpins that are OK is kinda like getting a root canal for the hell of it, because you're at the dentist for a cleaning anyways...
