Changing oil pan gasket?

1984 K5 305cid, 700r.

Need to change oil soon and believe oil pan gasket shot, it's never been changed in the 20 years I've owned truck and doubt it was previously .

Who to get gasket from?

Can I skip gasket and use RTV?

Any tricks or tips to removing pan and installing it ?

get a one piece felpro. If your 4x4 k truck is stock just the starter and the support rods if equipped. pan will drop down

Yea have the,support rods. So starter gotta be removed ?

yeah the stock starter covers the bolts, just way easier to get to them with out the starter.
