Let me guess to shorten the output shaft on a Th350 I have to tear the tranni all the way down? Is there any other way?
Thanks
Adam

Darn it. I'm installing a Np205 and my tail shaft is about 4" to long. I was thinking about having a custom adapter made but i'm looking at all of my options.
Thanks

Nope, that would be the way. Why do you need to shorten it?

Yea it's a Np208. I yanked it last weekend and all kinds of metal shavings feel out of the drain hole . Some of the pieces where like 1/2 inch big. But she is still going. I don't know how long though. :doah:

What T-case is behind yours now? I'm going to guess a 208.

Yea I know....I'm all set now. I'm buying a tail shaft off from 400Raptor that will stick out 1 1/2" past the edge of my tranny. I just called Amcco and they will install it for $150 bucks. I am having them add a trans pak. For another $100. So i'm looking at $250. Thats not bad in my book.
Thanks
Adam
