cheap air compressor

i have thoughts... they scare even me.... oh .. on to the compressor

21 gallons is fairly small, would be enough to run an impact and air ratchet, but you will have a hard time with a die grinder or d/a as they use assloads of air and a 3hp motor wont keep up with them either... hell i have a 5.5horse 60 gallon that has a hard time with long use die grinders, for the money, id say good deal

it is smaller than what i wanted, but since my old was left outside for 2 years (thanks to the ex) i wanted something to get started with again.

I have the same one.It will do some air tools but not if you want to keep pounding on a bolt with an impact.Fills up tires good and for blowing out carbs and will work a nail gun ok.

It gets me through most things I need and is alot better than nothing!!For the price it works!!

I just bought a compressor for cheap too. Looks to be the same manufacturer of the top section. Mine is Campbell Hausfeld and is a 15 gallon upright. Came with a decent 1/2" impact (380 ft/lbs) for $250 cdn.

I have a 5 horse/60 gallon brute in my garage, but not the cash to get it wired up properly. This little guy is easy to move around, and got me going.

I bought a HF pancake compressor 8 years ago. It is NOT oilless, and it just keeps on pumping.

4 months ago, I bought a HF 5 HP, 29 gallon unit. When I need more air, I plug it into a 30 gallon CH tank I have, and feed out of it.:D

Keep your eyes on e-bay and craigslist... I got my 80 gallon on e-bay delivered to my house (guy lived about 20 miles away) for $100... I spent another $40 or so on wiring and fittings and it's been running strong for a couple of years now.
I never run out of air now...

cost me about 50 bucks, but then i bought 15' of romex and all i needed was 7 or 8 lol, wired into the water heater circuit, since they never run at the same time

Yeah, I picked up a 5hp 80 gal Saylor Beall off ebay, think I paid $300 for it. I Had to drive a couple hours to pick it up, but WELL worth it!

Yeah, I need 120 feet of heavy cable meant for underground to get 60 amp servie to my detached garage...trust me I'd love to get my big compressor up and running (as well as heat and light out there)

For now the little compressor does me just fine.

i have been; only problem. lubbock is only about 200,000 people and there is no other major city around it. i look in the DFW area as i travel over there picking up parts sometimes, and i could get me a better deal. but then i would have to drive 4 hours to pick it up and 4 hours back.

True... I had my eye on the Abilene CL when I lived there for a while and not much popped up.
