Anyone have a recommendation? The K10 needs new tires, but I don't want to spend a ton. 15 inch rims, stock height, current tires are 29" or so, I'd like to go as big as 33s but anything between 29 and 33 would be fine. The truck doesn't get many miles, and doesn't do any real wheeling. I've been looking for used tires with no luck so far. I've been considering Treadwrights if I can't find used- they have one for $100 per tire that would work fine for what I need. Anyone have any other ideas?

I have run treadwrights before. The early ones were not great, had them on a K20, didn't really like them. Last set I had were pretty good, the old Goodyear MTR pattern but tread life wasn't anything special. Those were on a Jeep Cherokee so I don't think tread life would be very good on a heavier pickup.

31s are a good size on a stock K10 with 3.73s

check thru BBwheels, sometimes they have goods prices

BB Wheels is a new one- I'll check that out.

Tread life isn't a huge concern, I doubt that I'll put more than 2-4 thousand miles a year on the truck.

Walmart has some budget friendly A/T's. Last I looked they had some decent looking options for <100 bucks a tire.

Discount tires sell Falken tires, I ran a set of A/T's and M/T's on an old '79 4x4 Ford.. decent tires for the price..

I have Falken AT’s on my ‘15 Suburban and ‘04 Grand Cherokee. They aren’t the cheapest but much less than most other well known brands. Planning to put some 37” MT’s on my Super Duty when the time comes to replace the current BFG KM2 MT’s

Tires are one of the things in which you get what you pay for, and you shouldn't skimp on them. Check mastercraft, cooper's fleet tire. Good tires that are frequently discounted, especially at farmers co-ops.
Cooper and Mastercraft usually have a sale/rebate this time of year.

keep a eye open on ebay for seller discount tire store . they do a buy $400 get $100 off instant and lot of the time free ship . sometimes they do up to 3 times you can use the discount code so if your order for 4 tires is even $802.00 split it up to 2 tires each for $401.00 then $100 off and do the same order again to get another $100 off .

I just pulled the trigger on some 235/75R15 Cooper Discoverers at $74 a piece from Walmart. Im not going to be asking anything crazy out of them, so I'm sure they'll be fine. Mount, lifetime balancing, and install for $12 each. I don't think I'd find anything cheaper than that.

I would have really liked to go with 31s, but I couldnt talk myself into the extra expense. Too many other things to spend that $100 on.

You'll like them. I got 65K out of my last pair. Only thing I don't like is they seem to hold gravel in the treads and shoot it out at highway speeds. Did you get the new XLT model w/ the side biters?

That's the older AT. New one is AT3 LT and they've already updated that to the AT3 XLT w/ some nice side biters.

Walmart tire are many times made just for Walmart and their specific to them that’s why they are cheaper.
That may be true but even special order on the website seems to be much cheaper. I got 37" Toyo for $300 each delivered, everyone else seemed to want $375 at the time.

I'll cast another vote for the Discoverer AT3. I have been happy with them on several vehicles. They lasted, which is more than I can say for some of the tires I've run. Good street manners without being a straight street tire.
