Cheap Bilstein alert. NOW with CK5 discount!

Bryan,

I used the factory "quad" shock mounts, and the 12" travel short body shocks. Along with the large "competition" bumpstops from ORD, just to make sure I'm not bottoming the shocks (which I'm not).

Here's the album with the photos I took during the install:

Here's a photo too:

I ended up moving the piggyback up higher a bit. Also, I could not mount the bottom of the shock in the eye on the axle, it had to go next to it (like the quad shock did) or the body would hit the mount at the top. The grinder will be coming out to take care of that minor issue one of these days.

Call that guy up. He was more than willing to be helpful when I looked into ordering from them.

How do I know what to order for a 4" lift? Are all 5100s the same? 4 wheel parts had them at the 300/4 on the 5100s, like this sale was.

Sale didnt' apply to the sizes i needed.

As much as they sell ones for 4 and 6" lifts, i would recommend flexing and measuring static, compressed, and dropped lengths, and comparing to the chart on their website .

Tried to use the same deal a month or 2 ago, and it "didnt' apply" to teh sizes i was ordering....

on 4wp? Dang. i looked up on bilsteins website, the list one for the 3-4" lift range front and rear, then a different for the 6".

We currently are having a 12% off sale on our website, we cannot extend any additional discounts sorry!

We have stocked up on the most popular shocks you guys were ordering for same day shipping. Let us know how we can help, [email protected]

Can we still get free shipping with that 12% off?

For anybody else looking for Bilsteins...

I called ((800) 877-1911) and basically the best price available was the one already listed on the web site. There are a couple of places on line selling for $10 less, but the shipping is about $14 more, so AJUSA doesn't even have to price match.

I ordered on 12-March and UPS has them out for delivery today (27-March), so that's only about 2 weeks total.

Correct, to lessen the blow of Bilsteins Jan 1 price increase, we have cut the margin on Bilstein by about 12% to keep our prices competitive with the guys who stocked up prior to the price increase. Because of that we cannot offer any additional discounts currently.

Bilstein offroad headquarters is in Poway, about 15mins away from us. Although we try to stock most shocks and are willing to make the daily trip to Bilstein, the warehouse up there is very slow at pulling orders and once placed, it takes them 5-7 to get the shocks to us.

Sorry for the delays, please feel free to contact us direct at [email protected].

Just placed an order, in the body of the shock description it listed a mounting kit. I tried searching your site with the number listed, and and nothing. Do the shocks come with the mounting kit automatically?

How long will you be running the 12% dicount? May need to order some up from you next week.

Thru the end of the month I believe, if the price goes up before you are ready to buy just PM or email me, I will work with you :waytogo:

You will get this,

I believe the mounting kit refers to the inserts and 5/8 bushing size pictured, you do not need anything else to bolt these up.

As LONG as you still have the stock rear upper mounts. Some shocks (bilstein 4600's, for instance), have an integrated, non removeable upper mount. Had to locate my stock mounts to put the 5100's (and then RS9000's) on.
