Sort of. But the price is actually an increase of what it sold for last June on ebay. Chalet #1248 built in 11/76, long parked on one of the islands near Seattle earlier last year. Rust could be a crippling factor .....
Well, but that depends on whether there are others out there in apporximately the same shape but offered at a lower price. Not long back, an unidentified '77 Casa Grande was on Craigslist in Missoula MT with a better looking body but gutted camper interior for only $2k. Tracking as many as I have over the years, I've seen quite a few in roughly the same shape languish in multi-Craigslist relistings at $1500.Given the number of them built, even a basket case is worth that .....
They are out there. The GoogleMap I have of the various 'for sale' ones gives a rough idea of how many are out there, but it's really hard to keep track of whether some sellers in the older listings I copied still have them or not.I seriously thought about going and looking at this. ..... I haven't seen a more complete chalet section tho
If you want to do that I have just what you need.My problem is I would buy it and turn it into some zombie bug out survival vehicle
I forgot -- do you still own that other orphaned #1383 Chalet camper unit?...I have just what you need. ....
