Cummins is a 359ci engine. The deals are out there, I paid $900 for my 6BT out of a '92 Dodge. I got the 518auto/205 case with it for an additional $200.

Gotta be the right place right time. I picked up a P-pump and a NV4500 for $750. Motor needs some work, but pretty much impossible to find one around here. Same place has a 24v but no ECM, I can get it dirt cheap.

The trick is to find something that isn't listed online. People that list online generally know what they have or they take the time to figure out what they have.
I bought my '94 12 valve NV4500 4x4 dodge for $1,800 and drove it home. My buddy found it sitting up in the hills with a for sale sign stuck on it.
