kind of a hi-jack...are the Lockrights for a 14bolt as strong as a detroit?? I know in any other diff they arnt because a detroit replaces the carrier too adding strength where the lockright utilizes the stock carrier...but in a 14bolt the carrier is strong enough...so would a lockright be just as strong?? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

i was quoted $650 shipped for genuine 4.56 thick gears, master install kit, and detroit for my 14 bolt FF from dc4wd

this sound like a good price for all that?

I got my D60 Detroit for 440 from Performance Offroad Center. I was quoted 330 for a 14FF detroit but that was back before the steel prices went sky high, I think they're another $10 now.
