Its about $2.35 here in town, and $2.25 on base. Base gas SUCKS so I spend the extra dime to get real gas. There was a station out here that just opened that had gas for $.94 a gallon for 1 day. The guy that owned the place said he lost $15000 that day. He did it for free advertizment. Every news channel in southern comufornia was there.

we had a station nearby that sold for something like 1.60 a gallon, sold out real fast. I couldn't imagine working at that place, if it were our station that did that, fist fights WOULD break out, people are so stupid about getting gasoline.

Got gas the other day in the KC metro in my 94 3/4 sub 454. I was filling up my tank as the guy next to me pulled in with his BMW Z4. when he got done sams had just shut my pump off at $75. He jocking told me "i bet you wish you had my tank!" I told him, My gas is less than his car payment!

As i was pumping a whole 5 dollars in my truck tonight, The guy at the pump in front of me pumped his $51.45 and drove off. I guess that happens a lot these days. Gas is $1.93 a gallon for the cheap stuff here. It could be worse, they could run on milk like my kids do, that stuff is over $3 a gallon /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

Pretty soon we'll need locking fuel caps for our home heating oil tanks--a few people around here reported several prowlers attempting to siphon their tanks,one homeowner got hit for a full 250 gallons! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif.
Some related humor I heard on Paul Harvey(Good Day):
Seems the police in seattle were called to an RV park on a prowler call--the police found a siphon hose,and what appeared to be vomit on the ground near a motor home,and
