:angry1::angry1::angry1: that looks like a runner to me. I hate that crap. I think only the rust buckets or body damaged should get parted out.

and yeah, doesn't that guy also run an ad saying he'll buy your used 73-87 chevs?

There was a guy around here that did the same thing. He bought up a metric assload of 73-91 rigs over about a 5 year period. It got so bad you couldn't hardly find any parts for a square body without going to him. He had about 10 acres, and countless building stuffed front to back and up to the rafters with 73-91 stuff...all at asshole prices.

I remember seeing a dozen mint condition complete 90-91 baby quad front clips in home-built racking 3 levels high. Told me he usually got $800 plus for each one. :angry1:

Then there was the shipping container with about 500 steering columns hanging like sides of beef.

What really pissed me off was he crushed the stuff that took up the most real estate. hundreds of Blazer tubs, burb tubs, 6 pack cabs etc.

Yeah, his prices aren't too bad, but he does know that's more valuable, ie he has a couple 6 lug 14 bolts he wants $300-350 for...

Some of the rigs pictured in he's ad echo what rene says, they look too nice to part out. Sucks. Portland emissions is driving the prices down on these trucks. Which is good unless you own one and need to get it smogged.

Still , anymore, I hate to see complete sold rigs get parted. Hammered, dented, rusted...yes. straight, complete - no
