Looking for a cheap way to lift my 90 K5 4". Blocks are cheap for the rear, but what is the cheapest way to lift the front? Also, what else will I need: steering, shocks, etc.

Tuff Country 4" springs up front. Offroad design shackle flip in the rear. Stay away from the blocks and spend a little to gain a lot.
[/ QUOTE ]I agree. When you buy cheao, you just end up paying more in the long run when you replace it later with quality parts. Best too just get the good stuff now, or as you can afford it.
Buy off the for sale forum...some good deals to be had there!! as for the rear do a homebrew shackleflip (cant beat free!) you can easily find 4" springs on the sale forum, and a raised steering arm and then just get some cheap shocks from an auto parts store /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
In addition to the lift you will need extended brake lines, longer shocks, and a raised steering arm which depending on what you buy will add $100-$300 in addition to the lift. I went pro comp brake lines $100, pro comp es9000 shocks all around $100, and pro comp raised steering arm $65 all from summit.
