Cheap running carb'd 350

As the title says, a cheap running carb'd 454 to replace my 350.
*edit*actually, another 350 would be best for me at this time, so now that's the engine of choice *edit*

What do you consider cheap? I take pictures for Auto Trader magazine and just today took a pic of a 1984 suburban with a 454 running for $2000.00. You could always buy it and swap engines then re-sell the burb and probably end up with a FREE running 454. The only downfall to this is that it is in California. That isn't bad if you want to take a road trip.

Yeah, that is what I'm thinking I'm going to have to do. I know I can find running 454's in 1-ton's around here for ~$1000, so that's what I'm hoping for. I'll wait 'till I get a little more money and get one for around $2000 probably, but if something good comes up cheaper I'll look into it
