cheap snorkel, How to build?

well WE finaly got a good rain here in phx so I have found a nice deep hole and have been waiting to go out!!! so today i went to see how much water was really in there and its deep .. I really feel some type of snorkel will be needed! so ideas? my truck is a 79 k5 stock 350 44/12bolt locked rear 4 in. lift manual trans thx .......

avoid deep water like the plague....... if you must dive into it, make sure you not only have a decent snorkel, but find a way to waterproof you distributor and electric system. raise all of your vent tubes on your axles, tranny, etc.... Like I said, aviod this type of deep stuff if you can help it....... mud is cool, water ain't.......

when i asked this same question about a year ago, i was told isle 5. so i'll tell you to look around in magazines. i don't think anyone makes one for a 79 GM. PS i still don't have one, some one said would you run a marrathon breathing through a snorkle?just rig one.use it when you need it.
