Well I came across this a while back and no one wanted to get it and try it out, so of course i am the guiney pig. Well guess what at $350.00 shipped to my door it was well worth it! i used it all day saturday afternoon dragging trees up an embankment. it even pulled my blazer over the wheel chocks at one point! (and these are the big wheel chocks that they use on the fire trucks) with the money i saved on buyin this winch i can afford to buy a second one to mount in the rear of the truck. the seller is very easy to deal with and has a great rating! he was fast with the shipping and offers a 2 year warrenty! I personally dont think you can go wrong! Just my 2 cents to pass along.

yeah i just started a new post cause the other one is where i got the web site to buy it from, no one had one though so as far as i know im the first and i was just letting everyone know my expericenses with it and how i like it!

Plenty i even have some extra. I have mine mounted in a cradle in a 2" reciever on my front bumper so its even farther out then most. if you are mounting it in a winch bumper you will have more than enough cable. also i believe it is 1ga but dont quote me on that

Keep us all updated. If that is the real deal, works well, and is durable. I want one too. It is still a deal if it is half as good as a Warn.

Have been watching this thread and wanted to know if there were any updates on it? How has it been holding up?

Havent used it much as this is my busy season at work, it worked good the last time i used it though. I wana get a cover for it to help keep the weather off it though. ill let you know cause either this week or next weekend i need to drag a lifted f150 with a bad trans into my shop so ill just winch it up the hill and see how it does.

Here's a link to the seller's current listings:

Sells several different versions, rated line pulls, etc. Also has a "waterproof" version. Sounds like a good idea but is it really a concern? Most of his waterproof units are listed for boat trailers which could be a good idea but I was wondering specifically about truck mounted.

yeah, i gave the 1st link to my buddy who's in the middle of a ranger build, he bought it as soon as he saw it... can't beat the 12000 lbs for $350 to the door. It'll be a while before he gets to test it out though.

Thanks for posting that up im very pleased with the 12000lb winch. after the first of the year im thinking bout buyin either the 8000lb or the 12000lb marine winch. for mounting at the rear of my blazer (the marine one is rated for 4000lb dead pull) i would think that would be enough to pull me back a couple feet though? also i saw the dual battery kits he has posted up might have to get one of them too:saweet:

That 4000 lb. winch is interesting. I burned up the one on my trailer and I'll need a suck down winch for the rear of my next project.
