Looking to replace my dash pad on my m1008 with a black one. Prices are stupid by the time you add shipping. Looks like OER sucks so staying away from that. Any other places that offer a decent product? Thinking of going Raybuck.

Price includes shipping

Raybuck $290
NPD- $300
LMC- $392
Cheyenne PIck Up Parts $390
Parts Place $301 (on ebay, mold at speaker holes looks funny)
USA1: $413
brothers $450+
Dashes Direct $390
73-87chevytrucks $400
Classic Industries $314 (with coupon code)

i bought one from LMC, Cheyenne and USA1
the USA1 fits the best and looks more OEM so thats my first choice
Cheyenne second but for the little price difference i would go with the USA
Its the one thing you see every time in the truck so spend the extra $$ and enjoy

Thanks! I think I saw your thread and pics. That helps alot if you want the most original looking dash. I was just trying to save 120 bucks and use that towards other things the trucks needs. Total budget build.
Owner said this about the Raybuck dash:
Everything fit perfect. I did have to use my old clips and trim of course. To get the clips in the new dash I just used a knife to cut a little slit and install the clips. I thought it was really nice quality. Nice fit and soft material.

I wish he had better pics.

Is a dash cover an option? I had a truck with the slip over plastic cover and I thought it looked quite presentable...

It has a cover now but I don't think the previous owner installed it right. Its now warped and cracked in a few spots. I think they look ok when installed correctly but I just wanted a new dash. The dash pad underneath is not fitting right either and I think its aftermarket.

I bought one of these from LMC (bottom of the page):

Put it in my crew cab. I think it looks awesome! My dash wasn't totally hashed up, just the typical 3 or 4 cracks. This molded plastic cover worked great IMO. It's a good alternative/middle ground to the crap carpet dash pads, and the real expensive full replacement dash's out there

Yep but if your dash pad sucks and doesnt fit right, the cover is not going help. Agree its a good cheaper alternative but I need the actual dash pad.

100% agree. Just trying to give others who might read this some options. If your dash pad is really thrashed, then don't do that cover I got, but if it's ok with just some cracks here and there, the molded plastic cover is great!

Carry on

where did you get your door panels from?

Good review. OER is hit or miss when you read reviews. Yours seems to be a good experience.

Finally received my dash today from Raybuck. Looks like its from Dashes Direct.

@H20 Toie - I noticed the USA1 vinyl dash you liked came from Dashes Direct. If this black non-vinyl dash fits as good as you're USA1 dash then I'll be pretty happy.

Looks good so far, I hope it fits as good as it looks!

Thought I should update this thread too.

Finally replaced the dash with a Raybuck (Dashes Direct) Fitment was ok, not the best. I give it a 7 out of 10. I didn't like how the trim plate at the far right aligned up. Clips were a bitch to remove and install and you do have cut out some material for the clips to work. The cluster bezel doesn't fit well where the corners are but it still works after its screwed in.
Overall it looks good but not perfect for a show truck.
