Hey, I am getting into this a little behind. The photo looks great of the rear floorpan. Where did you get the 1 piece pan and is there a part no. and how much did it cost you. I have an 88 that the floor is completely shot in and would like to do the replacement myself. Thanks for any info you can give me.

I may be slow, but I sure am fat!

K5BLT4FUN, thte 1 piece floor part # is 15571692. THe price of it is 337.88. Order all of your stuff thorugh www.gmpartsdirect.com MUCH cheaper than your GM dealer but it is still GM. Out of the 3 or 4 of us that are doing this project right now, I know some are going to do a whole write up, I may also, I've been taking pics all the way along so I'll probally atleast post all of my pics if not do a write up. If you want more help, PM me, RIZ,yunit,BOSS any of them will be able to help you. GOOD LUCK!!

What Ben said ,,,,,,,,,, we got it at the same place. It will be done for sure now ! All I have to do is drop in the wheel wells then start on the carpet and stuff ! Oh, by the way, Ben, didn't you say that if you were to buy wheel wells , to get ones for a truck instead so they'd be all bolt in ? Also, Please give any and all info on the tan caulking we talked about........... thanks! Let's see the pics of yours !!

Ok as the wheel well thingy goes, I was sent one blazer one(pass side) and one pickup one(right side) the pickup had welded nuts welded to it so all I had to do was drill the floor with holes. But the blazer well has the indents where the spot welds are supposed to go, so I just used those for a drill reference. I have floor and one wheel well in I just got one more to go and bolt everything down tight. Then the fun interior stuff. Yippe skippe!! As far as the sealant goes, here is the info. 3M Ultrapro Sealant Tan Part number 08300
This stuff rocks, is paintable in about 20 mins or so, but pretty expensive. And make sure you seal the tip very well, I haven't gotten this down to a science yet and usually end up ruining the tube with over half the stuff left over. Hope this helps and good luck. And by the way, ANYONE can drop me a line if they are talking about k5's. If I can help, I will and a lot of the times I do. Keep in touch Kevin!!!!!

What's the difference in part #'s between the Blazer and the truck wheel wells ? Would you suggest to get the truck ones then ?

I don't know the truck numbers because I udes the blazer ones and they sent it to me. It really makes no difference to me anyways, just the pickup ones have the holes drilled and have the welded nuts, but the welded nuts are the funky metric bolts which I don't have so I just used all 1/4" bolts. It really makes no difference, just one less set of holes to drill. But don't you already have new wheel wells?? You NEED the pass side wheel well because of the spare tire mount. So I would get both blazer ones, I just kept the truck one becuase it isn't that big of a deal and didn't feel like sending it back. So to me, it makes no difference. Hope I helped and good luck with the floor.
Oh yea, My floor is all in there baby!!!!!!!!! Just got the fun interior work to do. Latas kev.
