Went out and flexed today. Started to spin the two tires at max extension. I think I could get some more if i disconnect the sway bar.

Any advice out there?

yeah, getting rid of the sway bar will help the front - back looks good. :)

very cool truck! i would definately take out that sway bar and scrap it.

that and the truck deserves prettier trimming out back than that!!!! haha

I'm not sure I would want to be seen in that thing. I'd be glad to take it off your hands for you:D . You know to save your embarrasment:rolleyes: .. No realy I don't mind

Thanks for all the replies, I think I'll pull the sway bar lose and try the berm again. How much body roll can I expect with the sway bar removed under normal driving? "I can live with it" or "Dangerous"

Yeah, it looks kinda bad right now. I saved the pieces so I can just move the front edge forward two inches and keep the same opening shape but bigger.

you should be able to live with it just fine. just unbolt it from each end and tie it up outta the way. see how you liek the ride.

and i like the trimming idea!

heck I found the overall ride better w.o the sway bar. Especially when going through a dip or something at an angle, the whole rig doesn't shake back and forth. I hardly notice body roll unless am doing something stupid... ok. I feel the body roll alot but have never tipped it yet.

...and sweet, another somewhat local guy... just living in the state that stole wyomings big sky ;)

Nice!!

What are your plans for the Burb? Will tweaking it hard like that damage the body? :eek1: Put a cage in it before the doors fall off :D

Dude, that's sexy.... I just had a moment (with myself) - it was good.:eek1:

When you look at the flex you are getting form each axle, it is apparent that most is coming from the rear. Once you disconnect the sway bar, the front should flex more.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Burb BTW!!   :waytogo: :waytogo: :waytogo:

New pics

OK, the sway bar is off and the body roll is not too bad. I do notice it a little but I think I can get used to it.

Here are the pics from today and the flex is a little better. The lift spings are Tough Country EZ ride with the HD leaf. What if I pulled that HD leaf out, would that help the flex more? The springs are only 75 miles old so they may settle some.

Sway bar on the left and none on right.
