Check out the price on this POS in my hometown.

Why hate? Because it's not all beat up, missing half or more of the sheetmetal, clean paint, yeah maybe it is priced alittle high, but overall, I dunno, being as old as it is and looking from what I see in the pics as a decently clean truck... Every vehicle has it's own purpose.

It is a fairly clean body, but it has some wave to it. No idea how much bondo is in it. It has a horribly ugly paint job. It is just tacked together shiny ****. They ditched the Air Conditioning (and surprise, surprise, they covered the hole in the firewall with something shiny). The two CHROME tow hooks on the front are only bolted on with a single bolt a piece. No point in drilling another hole through the frame to use both bolt holes when they're only there for looks I suppose. It has 16/38.5/15" Swampers on it. Yeah, those factory half ton axles are going to love that. How often do you suppose they will eat ball joints??? If you are going to build a pavement pounder, why not use a large radial tire? 6" lift blocks in the rear? Yep. Factory push-pull steering? Yep. The whole interior coated in hot ass leather with no AC to keep your ass from sticking to the seat? Yep. 3" body lift to clear the unnecessary large by wide tires? Yep.

Do you have A/c in your house? Spoiled aren't you. I am going to go out on a limb here and say with the heat (107ish) and the humidity we have you may change your mind. I would rather be living in AZ right now (there is something to that dry heat b.s.). Heck it isn't like the corn would grow worse. It is just alot of money for a truck someone dumped a JC whitney catalog upside down on. I have no a/c in either k30 I have and it is on the list for the dually if I don't scrap it and buy a blazer (with a/c).

Now we know a lot more why you think it's a POS, just initially posting up a link and pics of a truck that honestly appears to be a ton cleaner than most, and calling it a pos is almost sounding like you're jealous of it or something.

Old, and mostly bored. You should never take anything I say as my real thoughts. I am trying to use the product rule to solve calc problems on my second trip through school.

Not even the least bit jealous. Just blown away that they could ask so much for a slapped together JC Whitney build.

Alittle testy are we?

My point is calling a clean looking truck with certain mods a POS is really a stretch for commenting on someone else's likes.
Agreed looks pretty clean to me. Not worth what they are asking. But any car is worth as much as someone would be willing to pay for it. If it were mine I wouldn't let it go for $2k.

80 427, seriously, how old are you?

Just to be clear the older I get the more I need A/C. Too long at super hot wear me out. My nuts hang too low after working in the heat. I have had plenty of it fixing pivots and cleaning grain bins in the summer.

Check out those sweet taillights! Body lifts and lift blocks for the win!!

I'd WAY rather have that truck in 100% stock form than that hideous mall crawling machine.

But...the chrome diff cover and fatty, slash cut exhaust tips poking out from under the rear bumper will make it all better.
