See the link to the ebay ad? Clearly a front pumpkin and front spring hangars, that's a 4wd. You're wrong, STFU.:D

In case you can't read good...

If you're talking about the drawing in the ad at the top of the first picture that's just to illustrate disc brakes. That was a two-page ad that I cropped in order to display the front hub on the truck in the photo. The actual truck pictured is a 4WD Blazer.

I'll post the whole ad later so you can understand better. That ad is full of all kinds of pictures of options that may or may not be on the Blazer in the photo. Chevy doesn't advertise 2WD Blazers on top of a rocky mountainside. :dunno:

I dunno, putting a 2WD on top of a mountain may be a possible 4WD sales angle:

Here are some pictures that throw me for a loop. These are 1974 ads for Chevy trucks. These pictures represent what I see when I see a fulltime 4WD GM truck with the the chrome cap on the drive flange. As you can see the hub even with the chrome dust cover sticks out beyond that particular hubcap.

What would be the difference between the front hubs on these trucks and the truck at the beginning of this thread? They all seem to have the same hubcaps. Does that '76 have a special flat drive flange that fits under the hubcap that wasn't available in '74?

this is the pic i was refering to. it shows a coil spring, see at the top left. you were talking about a cover sticking out. that is a 2wd truck setup. it's not teh same as 4wd.

I understand what you're saying and I know that the little drawing is of a 2WD brake setup. I know the difference. That drawing was not what I was trying to show (I should have cropped it out entirely). I was wanting everyone to look at the hub on the truck in the main photo.

Forget the hub cap issue, why did they put stupid looking buick skylark radial white wall tires on this truck? It has room stock for 31" to 33" mudders.
