[Can Can]

Being stuck out in the boondocks of Western Canada has it's disadvantages- I never get a chance to meet my fellow CK5ers, with the exception of Rene who blessed me with his presence /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif when he drove through town a couple of years ago......

Well, today Kim and I headed into the mountains to take some pics for the calendar. The weather was the shites but we managed to get some good pics.

Well, it started raining harder so we decided to do a 180 mile round trip through some backcountry areas I haven't been to in about 5 years. We droppped into one of the OHV areas I used to frequent back in "the day", and look who I ran into:

Theresa and Robin are the owners of White Knight(www.whiteknight.ca). It was cool to finally meet them in person and ask a bunch of dumb questions about their truck. And for those of you who think they have nice rig, let me be the first to tell you that you have to see White Knight in person to really appreciate how much work has gone into the sucker.

Anyhow, some of you see other members every day and probably take it for granted, but for me it's a big thing.

Rene, we actually discussed the get-together and they're gonna see if they can swing it. Hopefully they can work it into their schedule.

You mean Dolph Lundgren? I've heard that. I've heard Brian Bosworth too.

I'm so clean because I was out for a Sunday drive with my wife and kids. My K5 is a wimpy little stocker, not an offroad machine. Having a reliable family vehicle able to handle out winter weather is more of a priority right now. But someday the truck will be MINE, ALL MINE!!!! BWAHAHAHA!!!!

It was a pleasue meeting you and your family. Not the best pic opp as my head got caked with mud while going through a hole that swallowed the 44's. It was really mucky today.
WE're going to try and make the get together but it all depends on how the truck does at the Xtreme trail challenge the week before.

Now that Bosworth has been retired a long time and lost a lot of weight you really look like him. He built a house in Malibu that we worked on.
