Rene, my buddy has a 79 with those mirrors original, and my 80 has the same mirrors on it original equipment. Everything I have seen shows that they started in 77 with those mirrors.

Very nice Blazer, and I wouldn't mind having it in spite of the red interior. I agree with others, that is the ugliest color ever, and probably the most common.

No love for red interiors? I like red, especially with black paint. Once the '80s hit interior choices got homogenized into a few dull colors. I dig the good old color combos and this Blazer has it.
Like I said, this may not be all that's claimed (like most Ebay listings) but it's a nice Blazer. I knock the sellers for either for exaggerating, not knowing their stuff,or down right lying. You see a few incorrect claims, then you don't know what to believe. But,it's absolutely possible for a vehicle to be garage kept with miles kept down crazy low. I see it all the time. Paint doesn't fade in a garage. I don't know if it's original or not,but it is definitely possible for original paint to look great after many decades.

I like the red interiors too. My first K5 was black with red interior (77), and my current K5 (90) is the same thing. I've had about every other combo so I guess I've come full circle.

We could only trace those mirrors back to 1980 in sales brochures. Over on 67-72 we are examining this truck pretty closely. I think its a complete restore. Too many things make it "non-original"

I know the paint is not original, I'll even put money on it. I can tell from the good close up pictures, and there's no doubt in my mind. The factory panels were not that straight and the paint had the "large, smooth" orange peel that would smooth out over the years from washing, buffing, etc. The paint in the pictures is still a nice shiny deep black and has smaller (almost grainy) orange peel. Doesn't matter if it was garaged it's whole life or not, it still has 130K on it... that's a lot of time spent out of the garage.

And for the record, red interiors kick butt:pimp:
