Go to the site news forum...Steve explains what where why and how for ya. Basically you have to add a url to your personal preferences section in a box called "Your picture".

Size is limited to 65x75 or something like that.

Also check the feedback forum and the test forum...a lot of people have been asking similar questions lately and most of the answers are there.
