cheep 203 range box rear yoke kit writeup link

ORD used to make a kit for the 203 range box just like this but it was alot shorter.

ya i asked few years ago and thay said not a seller item basicly and no plans for new kits.

i was thinking 1 time to use one in reverse for cheep man's overdrive.

no ! its 1:1 or 2:1 low you would grind gears.

First if you want a yoke long enough so you don't have to weld a pipe to it, get a yoke from a fixed yoke 400.
Second, you can do the poor mans overdrive with a 203 case, it's already been done on a truck with MOG axles, the ratio is so low on these that it's needed.:thumb:

I meant from low range to 1-1, at speed. If it could be done, it would be useful for the 2wd guys. Run it in low range all the time with a tall rear gear, then shift to 'HI' for use at freeway speeds. Seems simpler than running one backwards as an overdrive.

35 spline yoke was used not 32 spline .

and ratio splits like that cant be shifted on the fly as easy at all.
