cheep

There often is a difference in the parts quality. I cant count how many times I have drove 10 miles to the napa and back rather than 1 mile to the checkers. AutoZone's here are usually the worst. Service generally sucks, 17 year old behind the counter knows it all and they don't have what I need or hand me the wrong part.

I do go to checkers quite a bit, oil, filters, hard lines, lug nuts, brake cleaner, hoses, wires, spark plugs, a tool if i cant find mine. Napa or dealer is where I go for everything else. I use a the body shops account at the dealer chevy 2 miles from my house, the parts guys are amazing and prices are ok..

Both checker and Autozone have a 24 hour store's here, one is 4 miles away so that is really handy if you break down at night or are trying to get something done.

I think its more about the service, I want the right part, the 1st time and I want a guy to talk to with a brain who can work through a problem with me if needed.
