So I recently installed a new chevy 350 tbi off jegs into my 1993 chevy k1500. Once I got it running and set the timing I drove it an it the Rpms would move around and the truck would start to shake really bad. I seemed to stall out when in reverse and it seems to be sucking down a ton of fuel. I did the iac an no changes and also cleaned the egr. I'm kinda stumped could it possibly be the coolant temp sensor. I have no check engine lights on.

Plug wires are in correct order an I can't find a vacuum leak at all. I rebuilt the throttle body an put a new base gasket on it. It ran a lot better at idle then when I put it in reverse it stalled out there's also no codes be throwing

Brake booster is good? No bad vacuum lines for sure?

Did you do the "minimum air" adjustment? With a new motor, you may need to do that to get idle correct. Should be able to google that with TBI in the search, and find out the procedure. Pretty easy.

I think I got it figured out I put new spark plug wires on it when i put the motor in an today I was listing to it run an I could hear something like spark jumping so I pulled off the air cleaner an looked at the wires an one of the wires had a small cut in it. So I replaced the wire an it ran fine but still seems like there's something wrong
