Chevy Bus ???

This states it's a Chevy something. WOuld anyone know about it. Is it a chevy drive train with a whatever bus on top? What do you say about the 6.5L deisel?

I am suppose to be looking for bus possibilities for my church. Any info would help me out.

Looks like they buy the rolling chassis from GM and build it up from there.

looks similar to one i drove up in alaska this summer. i think its based on GM's RV platform, and bob, our mechanic, swore up and down that it was a dam good chassis to use. ours had the 454-4l80 with what looked to be a dana 70 rear end. rides real nice too. besides, youll be unique next to all them f*rd "econoliners" they are junk. i drove them too, big guys like me hated them, no room in the drivers seat and just generally uncomfortable. otherwise, they werent too bad.

Only 3.5 feet longer than my crew cab

A lot of people don't like the 6.5's too much, but there are those out there who are fans of them. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I've heard some bad things. Could've been biased opinions though.

I would think that the 6.5 is a pretty decent engine, and should provide a good service life. As was stated it is a RV chassis by Chevrolet. Only thing that bugs me about that thing is the rainbows on the seats.
