Chevy c30 motor swap

The 350ho I see is 4.5k. and you'd still need an intake, along with all the other garbage that won't fit. Not sure if accessories all bolt up the same. Water pump among other things. It just keeps going.

For 4.5k you should be able to find a running 454 within about 1000 miles and still come out ahead.

Trust me I’ve been searching for about 2 months now, that’s when I came across this forum and joined. I got 9k to play with and that’s for a motor exhaust and to redo balls joints and tie rods

You can pick up a stock reman long block from Autozone or other part store for under $3000. It probably would come with some kind of warranty too but if you wanted to forgo that for a little more power it would be a good time to stuff a decent cam in it.

But I agree that even a stock basic big block is going to do a better job than a small block.

The roadkill guys took a 440 from a motor home.
They're having big fun with it. Unless it was a rolling meth lab those motors are usually not hurt.
