do the axle tubes have grease or oil seals at the ends at the knuckles or are the seals on the insides of the tubes at the chunck?

If the Dana 60 is anything like a 10 bolt front axle it will only have oil seals at the inside of the tubes by the carrier and gears, with no seal of any type on the outer end of the tubes.

Yep, its all on the inside. Nothing goes thru the tube except the axles. The seals are inside, it has to be pulled apart to change them. Going to be doing the same thing shortly, my left side is all wet by the lower king pin.

mad4wd makes an aftermarket outer seal you can add to the axle too....
