Chevy oil filter bypass valve

I'm building a 65 Chevy 327 to put in my 67 Camaro, I have a question regarding the oil filter conversion from canister to spin on, I have the adapter plate that has the thread for the filter but there is a bypass plate that goes in between the adapter plate and block, does any body out there have one of these, mine is all pitted and I would rather not use it. I've been to every parts store in town, even called the dealer.

I had a similar problem finding one. I ended up getting one from a guy that built engines on the side. He had an extra laying around. You might check with your local machine shop. That's how I got in touch with this guy.
