I have a Chevy P30. I changed the hydrobooster and master cylinder, I bled the brakes, but I can't get the pressure back. The pedal just goes down to the floor and I don't have any brakes. How can I get the pressure back? Thank you.
Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? Are you sure the lines are on correctly for the hydroboost? I'd start at the master though and then rebleed all the lines to purge out air.
The way I was taught to bleed the hydroboost is crank the engine until it starts and shut off immediatly when it catches. Pump the brakes 3x. Repeat until you no longer see any foam created in the powersteering res. That's about it.
Bleed the m/c first, then RR, LR, RF, LF....try letting a gravity bleed happen first. When you have fluid at the RR, then bleed about 2-3 oz. out of it, then move to the others. See what you have after trying that.
