Chevy's in the wild

We actually seen cleetus in mullet go by, but I didn't have my camera ready to catch the elky go by.
And didn't realize he was in it either.

I went to school with this guy ( who looked like a damn near clone of Eddie Van Halen since he was 15 yrs old ) - as far as I know he has only owned two vehicles; the first was a 1984 red Z/28 L-69 H.O. 5-spd ( which was absolutely screaming everything 80’s )that he traded in on this truck in 93 or 94 and here it is today.
Gotta admit he has always taken very good care of his junk.

In the second pic- I’m 99% sure the red one is a ‘39 Chevy. The blue one is a Ford Ranchero, not sure on the year.
The red car is a '38 or older. The headlights moved to the fender in '39.

And I don't see a blue Ranchero.
Chrysler Cordova (?)

The blue one is like a magnum or the elusive charger in that body. I've seen it up close and taken pics of it before. But I forget exactly which model it is.

That makes sense, I was going the Starsky & Hutch stripe. The angle made it look like it had a bed. (Or I’m just dumb, lol).

If you don't zoom in it does look like a bed kinda

My buddies dad bought this when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. Mid 80's.
Started building on it and it became the car that made him and my dad best friends.
In fact, the engine in it is out of my dad's 72 GMC heavy half ton.
They're both gone now, and my buddy got married today. So his brother (who inherited it) got it out to drive him to his wedding.
(My buddy got the convertible 3rd gen Trans Am that I've posted before)
