Was that a newer frame underneath it appears? Or they swapped a newer stock IFS on an old frame?

As some of my posts have stated, I'm getting divorced, not much time or money to do anything. But.... I had my kids the last couple days and it's been raining crazy out here in AZ. So, for "free" " in the wild" we went on peralta trail. 4 water crossing, quite a few mud pits..

I took the GMC out and had to come back and fire up my Blazer and put all this ORD wonderment to use.

My blazer took it all in stride and they all had a blast as well as me having moment to leave my stress behind, I had a total blast. Water completely coming over the truck and in the cab hahahahah.

FYI for anyone with a camper. The front shock option from the cabover to the cowl is beyond worth the investment. It helps soooooooo much.

I believe it was a newer frame (early 2000s) and if I remember correctly, had some of the interior from the newer truck also.

I was trying to explain faux patina to my 9 year old daughter.

I think her confused face as she tried to grasp the concept was a perfect example of how most of us feel.

I didn't even care but what caught my eye was the window guard/ rain thingy mubobby. Can't recall ever seeing one of those on a Square. fine with it but I cringed a little

I talked to him. It has a respray before he bought it. Black primer over factory clear then factory red. He started sanding and lost interest because it needs to be stripped to do it right.

His son can do it when dad dies.
