Chevy's in the wild

We all make 400+ mistakes or mis-calls every day - just try’n to look out for each other.

Where I was in the middle east we didn't see those until 1980.
Probably because of the war 77-79, no imports during those years
Production for outside the northern American market will mess up most everyone.

You think that is bad, in the early 2000s our dealerships decided that we don't like front wheel drive American cars so they imported Holdens instead, rebadged chevrolet. It was freaking awesome but I didn't realize that it was the case until I came here and compared the offerings and talked to my brother in law in Australia.

The Central and South American markets retain stuff that the North American market stopped producing years ago.

That’s crazy how the Middle East market selection goes.

The Japanese offer MUCH BETTER options in damn near every market except North America - we are way too soft compared to the rest of the world.

Yeah, I really hated that we couldn't get any of the Japanese diesel offerings

Or the solid axles after we went IFS.

Just think of how well those FJ CRUISERS would have sold if they came with a diesel option, rear full-floater axle and a coil spring front high-pinion selectable locker front axle with AISIN manual locking hubs.

Everything mentioned was already in production so no need for added engineering costs - Yota certainly missed the ball on that one !

All the capabilities of a RUBICON but with all the durability of Yota quality and engineering. Damn shame the bean counters ruled over all those choices.

Looks like here in Michigan….the last 3-4 days have melted alot of snow, most of whats on the roads now is just snow melting onto the roadway. However, the humidity is so high the concrete and asphalt and anything else that was preciously frozen os now sweating like it just rained!
And we all know there is more winter coming!
