Chevy's in the wild

There's like a shoebox club or something in town here.
It's 4-5 old dudes that have 2-4 of them a piece. So in the summer they're kind of all over it seems.
One of them is building a riddler class resto mod 57 convertible right now. 2 of the guys have all nomads.

My neighbor a couple of doors down is clearly into Chevy. She picked up this K10 last week. The El Camino is her's also. Unfortunately both of them are up for sale on FB MP - she's trying to flip the K10 for a few thousand.

Despite the fact that she's trying to flip it, I'm happy that the two of us have old shit up and down the block.

I loved all the signs over there asking tourists to slow down and drive the speed limit but if you did that you were getting passed left and right by local people going 10-15 over.

The wife was doing at least that if not more and we were getting a$$hole passed left and right.

I went to the annual Portland Auto Swap Meet up at Portland International Raceway today. Saw quite a few cool Chevies in the wild and several non-Chevies, too. Those will be posted in the other thread.

This thing made me do a triple take, so I talked to the owner/builder. It's a stretched golf cart that they added some heavily modified '55 parts to top make it look like a gasser wagon.

Super original '68. 326, 4 speed, greenish goldish interior, low miles.

Expensive roller convertible!

The '55 has an uglier and more golf cart-like' 57 sibling. The proportions are wonky.

But it has a foot shaped gas pedal, so I'll allow it.

You could win this Chevelle for $5 per raffle ticket.

Last batch. The rain held off for a while, then it hailed a bit when a small shower suddenly blew in. It finally died down and I had a good time.

When's the last time you saw a Citation, let some one this clean? They're asking $1,000. Seems fair.
