Thanks, there are several sweet Chevys out your way as well !

The squares at these last few shows have been just top notch to say the least.
So many folks in attendance were all just flocking towards them and seemed to like the original looking ones the best.

I’m not real sure on the year of that one, but my brother had a 68 while we were in high school.
Everyone I ran around with (72-76 high school years) just referred to them as Cragars, because there really wasn’t any other Cragar as popular, and the Keystone klassic just didn't cut it.

I agree about the year in question - it’s got the smaller front turn signal lenses of the 68 & 69’s but no rear/lower front fender vents that the 68~70 SS’s had.
A 68 is my favorite year with the ignition key still up on the dash.

Same here on the common talk of cool wheels from back in the day - we all just said: Cragars, Keystones, slotted Mags, solid Centerlines or hurricanes ( like what was on the General Lee ).

That was all back when a sweet set of wheels was far more important than paint on the car…

Talk’n about Cragars got me reminiscing when my brother first put a set on his 77 Camaro - it absolutely transformed the look of his car!
He went from wire wheel hub caps and whitewalls to a set of 14x8 Cragars and some 60 series raised white letter rubber all around and the difference was astounding!

The Dodge pulled me up on the grass.
I assume that’s Rads Dodge ?

Good to see the Blazer is getting driven and enjoyed as it should be - it’s too bad that most folks at these shows wouldn’t understand most of the fine upgrades your ride has that can’t be seen on the surface.

BTW, that 57 with the Pro Mod look’n BBC stick’n out of the engine bay looks like it would be a handful on the street - I’m guessing that guy has won a few dollars going real fast for 1,320 feet at a time on some lonely back roads on Saturday nights.
