Chevy's in the wild

well if we are posting pictures of our own...

street sweepers came by this morning at 6am... tomorrow the other side of the street gets swept. nobody else gonna park here, I'm going to park in front of my apartment! public parking on a major street...

last 2 weeks in a row, my ghetto belligerent neighbors reported my K5 to the city as being abandoned. once it was parked here, and the other time it was about 8 spots in front of this one, where there is a break in the trees and less sap drips on the paint while I'm at work...

1) anyway, 6am street sweeper
2) I parked blazer @ 7:15am, then went to work (took the tundra- has AC!)
3) by the time I get home from work today, there should be a notice on the windshield from the city stating that it is illegal to park for more that 36 consecutive hours, and that the blazer will be towed if it is not moved within the FOLOWING 48 hours. tires will be marked with chalk. no other vehicles on the street will have been treated this way.

I have a stack of 30-40 of these notices from over the last year :angry1:
...and when I see the angry belligerent neighbor next, I will say hello/ how are you, and he will stare at the ground and keep walking. Sometimes, If I am lucky he will talk $hi^ under his breath just quietly enough to make sure I cannot make it out.

You can park your K5 in front of my house anytime...I might have to steal it though

trying to decide if that bumper has destroyed a lessor vehicle in one pretty good impact, or had several corner collisions on both sides... license plate not too mangled... fender is a little dinged and grill is peeling away from turn signal.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

im going with : ate a nissan juke for breakfast. pulled up and chomped on it from behind, and then shook it violently from side to side -just like a shark showing the rest of the seals on the beach who really owns the water... and then it continued on its way to the grocery store with all the kids still piled in the back.

Me personally, I only like step-sides on '72 and earlier. They look a bit too funky on squares, for my taste...

I like them also on round eye squares, but not the 81+ as pictured. The rectangular headlights and fender crease lines don't jive well with the rounded step side fenders.
The bare edges on the back of the cab in a little to sharp for my taste, but are softened somewhat with rounded headlights and front fender lines.
