Chevy's in the wild

This truck had a nice running 454 in it and a McCloed dual-disc clutch set up 465/205 with D60/70-B Detroit’s and 6.17’s on 44” BOGGERS
BTW, if ya‘ can see the front of a truck beside/behind it - that is NVRENUF’s old 80 K-10 We were gett’n ready to go play in the swamp.

This one was mine in the 90’s.
An 83 K-3500 454 ( stock motor in this pick but later that year I put a fairly healthy roller 468 in it to play a little harder ) and 465/205, D60/70HD D/L out back and 4.56’s on 38” TSL’s.
Times were good !

This was a buddy of NVRENUF
SBC 400 TH350/203 ( if I recall correctly) and big-hub D44/14B G/L out back and I think 4.11’s maybe 4.56’s on 40” GUMBOS.
JoGM - correct me if I am wring on the running gear on “The Mouse”.

This was NVRENUF racing at a track in Pensacola
We put a NASTY roller BBC in it with John’s JW TH400/205
D60/14B T/L - D/L 5.13’s on 38” skinny BOGGERS up front and 39.5” out back.
TIMES WERR GOOD !!

edit - it had 44” TSL’s on it for this race ( the deep pit ).

My truck I fixed up 35 years ago, my blazer I owned back around 2006 (before) and I found that blazer just last year (after pictures) makes me sad. Tried buying it before I bought the 73 I have now.

Hoe Lee Crap! @tarussell pulled a bunch of stuff out of the Way Back Vault!! :yikes: Look at that skinny knucklehead in post #362, my how things have changed. :rotfl: I should have grabbed the wheels off of that truck with the Boggers. Hell, we should have grabbed that whole truck.. what a waste when it got parted out.

@tarussell if that red truck is for sale close to you, you need to sell a kidney and own it! :pimp:

#glorydays

That red K-10 is FINE and looks to be a street queen with no wear-n-tear what so ever !
It's gone now and I think it went for $25,000 ( at least that's what it listed for ) - I hope whoever got it knows what they got, too rich for my blood.

@tarussell
Great share... those pics are great
Thanks - Those were only some of the trucks we wheeled with in the 90's - times were real good !
I was all about a good running 350 until I drove John's ( NVRENUF ) truck with a stout 454 with 44's and only 4.56's in high range in the mud - - - and it was all over with at that point. With in a years time most of us had a BBC in our trucks - the power was/is intoxicating once we started to hop up the 454's - things were never the same from then on....
