Every time I see one with that decal package I instantly think it's a scout II for a split second for some reason.
Not sure if the scout did a similar one once or what...?

Ewe Ford mirrors! I don't know why everyone always goes to those F150 mirrors.
After trying about 6 different mirrors on my 67/69 Shorty those were the only mirrors that matched the body lines and were still user friendly.
And they fold nicely
That’s what are on my ‘69. They look awful, but they fit and if I took them off I’d have to patch the holes in the door. Back in the ‘80s we sold them at the parts store I worked at as a universal replacement. I’m guessing a lot of others did as well. That’s probably why so many trucks have them.
Ford did good with the design. My first squarebody had them. Lol.
Did they? Or was the design outsourced to a supplier? Maybe they wrote good requirements.
