Chevy's in the wild

Looks like a step side too, pretty cool.
Damn good eye on spotting the P/W having a step side bed in the original pic - I had to look at it a few times to pick up on that even after you pointed it out.

Back in the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s I did not appreciate the Ford and Dodge style of step side beds but over the years I have come to like them more and more.
Of course none are as cool as GM’s 67~72 step sides followed by the 73~87 Squares!

Stopped by a friend's shop. A truck showed up that I had done a little carb work on years ago. It is needing some work on the A/C now. It has the 3 speed with OD in it.
After he made an appointment, this little old lady brought her K5 in for some work. I see her around town, but never seem to get a picture of her with it.

The pictures didn't load in order. The interior shot is of the K10.
I did not know that the NP-440/833 equipped Squares had a shifter console that encompassed both shifters ( trans & T-case ) like that…

I want something like this.
I was actually looking around for an old wagon from the 60's when the cutlass I'm buying came up. Even after I started talking to the guy about a deal, I was still feeling around to see if one popped up quick.
Then just pulled the trigger on the cutlass instead.
I don't even care what brand. Pretty much any wagon from 55-72 is friggin cool.

And seen this yesterday. Didn't have time to level the phone out.

Im not a fan of Squarebody stepsides. Earlier years, yes. To me, the Squarebody lines look odd with a stepsides. To each their own, I suppose.

Damn, that has got to be Joe Dirts camping set up !
The paint job is screaming Valley Girl movie 80’s vibe and ya’ just know that whoever is in that thing use to rock some same colored scheme parachute pants and members only jacket combo.

But in all fairness the truck does have some Big-Hub D44 Spicers on it so cool points must be given.

I was thinking props for keeping the squarebody even if he's lost just about everything else.

So sorry for the bad pics - it was raining and I was driving on both accounts.
The Chevelle looked as if they were pulling the motor and was real clean !
The 83/84 K-10 LWB was being hauled on I-10 with a mid-sixties F-150 behind it. Hard to see in the pic but this K-10 was absolutely straight and in fine shape.
