Chevy's in the wild

Giving up on that inline already :shame: @tarussell
I’m in way too deep to stop on the 292 program ( those parts ain’t cheap by no means ) - although I do still have a 454 just in case I ever get a few wild hair’s again….

The motor we went and got today is for a buddy of mine ( you met him at lunch during Cruis’n the Coast this year ) and it came outta that Nova - the guy said it was too much to handle on the street.
I wasn’t aware that was possible….

This is my Buddy’s GMT400 - it’s got a 12V CUMMINS 727/205 and the Dodge Dana-61 up front and a Dana-70 out back with 3.07’s.
Oh yeah, it also has a couple of extra doors - his wife pulls a horse trailer and wanted plenty of room for the family to ride along with to the equestrian events.

This car belonged to a very good friend of mine and this is it parked in front of the church at his funeral service today - his grand kids drove it there in honor of their grandfather, John Boyden.
He was a LEGEND in our local racing community and owned the leading speed shop since 1977.

This car was his daily driver - a real Super Sport LS-5.
He also had a 68 Chevelle SS drag car and another 70 Chevelle SS that had a genuine crate LS-7 engine that was purchased in the 80’s. This guy was THE resource for all things Big Block Chevy…
