Chevy's in the wild

Dude across the street has the bad ass el Camino big block that he never drives. I went to help him try to get it to start. Changed plugs and kept adding fuel down the carb but it refused to idle. Start then die like it wasn't getting fuel. I checked the fuel rail and it had fuel so... don't know and I had to go. Both bowls had fuel you could see it. Maybe Holley carb issue from sitting so long anyway.

Anyway this isn't a repair thread. So, pics below

Time for you and @nvrenuf to build a mud truck again! His blazer really needs ag tires!
It’s funny that you say that ( though we are not doing it….) while at the park today a guy came up to me outta the crowd and asked if I was “Uncle Tom” ( my nickname from way back in the day ) and kept on talking about John and I and how impressed he was about the truck at the track - he called it “King of the deep pit”.
That was more than twenty-five years ago…
Those were good times!

This place has multiple corses and race tracks both dry and wet - plus 6,000+ acres of trail riding land along Styx River.
We all need to get up together and go visit this establishment.

John’s K-5 would be awesome with some ag tires at this place.

I am sure he would love it, slinging mud in the top less k5

It definitely is a stretched one, I was trying to find a mention in the description but I guess he thinks they all are this long
Probably 84" cab to axle truck.
The factory actually did build 84" cab to axle trucks that were 1 ton single wheel.
Not with regular style beds obviously. Usually had custom flatbeds made to haul glass.

Is the liftgate/tailgate unusual for a 1st gen Suburban? I can't remember having seen one, seems like they are usually barn doors.

I have seen enough that this is not rare

I've never liked the 3 door Subs so I don't pay much attention to them, the pic really makes that style stand out (probably because of tailgate color).

I always wanted to get one and turn it into a 2 door. With the fold forward passenger seat like a blazer.
