Chevy's in the wild

Externally/cosmetically I don’t think there is any difference between 85~87 ( 88 for K-5’s ) with the exception of the fuel injection badge on the tailgate for 87~88

You can tell an ‘88 apart from an ‘85-‘87 by the radio antenna. An ‘85-‘87 will have the windshield antenna, whereas an ‘88 will have a fender mounted radio antenna.

Well, unless it’s a one-ton, there is no r/v square body pickup. Only blazer, burb and wontons are ‘88 up r/v squares. I guess there’s apparently’87 r/vs but I don’t think it’s right.

All ‘87 model light duty GM trucks were R/V body code.
