Chevy's in the wild

You have rain? We are dry and 60*!!
Odd as heck for Xmas eve!
We took care of the rain and the snow here in CA.
It's been raining for days and will go to Friday night and snow is piling on the mountain, already truck traffic is shut down at the bottom of the hill.
They are expecting 2-4 feet of snow in the next couple of days.
4-8" of rain in los Angeles in 3 days, that's 3x the average rain for December.

I’ve only driven ( a real drive not just a test drive to validate a repair ) two C2 Vettes for any length of time on multiple occasions - first one was a ‘66 327 4-spd 275 or 300 horse ( can’t recall as this was in the late ‘80’s ) coupe and the other was also a ‘66 with a 427/390 horse 4-spd convertible.

Both were absolutely great cars to drive - well balanced and surprisingly comfortable.
Damn fun to drive no matter what motor but the big-block is no doubt my preferred motor.

Neither had power steering but both had power brakes.
Absolutely loved the interior and gauge cluster/dash.

In my experience/opinion the C2’s are GREAT sports cars and are frigg’n works of art in the looks department !

I drove a buddies 80 once, and hated it. Something about driver placement and such, ...? Dunno....
I could not see myself trying to road race in it, or even drive around town long. :dunno:

Only vette I've ever even sat in the driver's seat of.

My 79 camaros fit and felt way better for all that. Not as cool, but seemed more set up for it.

There was a very large debate when I stuck 20k into my burb earlier this year, on whether I'd put that money in the burb, or buy a vette.
Always wanted a C4 or C5.
That experience and having a 10yr old (2 seater) is why I went with the burb.
Never even dawned on me to do another camaro :screwy::haha:
At this point I guess I'll never have either lol

Mid 70s vettes are woefully underfunded in the HP department

Supposedly the red one was a 365hp 327
The white one had a tremec and aluminum heads

The one I drove was custom. 355 I believe. But I didn't flog it. It was more of a ,just felt all wrong physically :dunno:
Oh well. Probably won't get a chance to drive another anyway lol
