Cheyenne Super 10 ...What Do You Think of the Two-Tone Retro?

I'd be doing it white on my red Silverado if I wasn't planning on selling it. I like it

A set of stock silver steel wheels is $400 on fleabay. A set of BF Goodrich tires to go on em is $1000. White vinyl for the sides is about $150. And some white n gold pinstriping is less than $50. To make it look right a 2.5" spacer lift in the front isn't much either....

They're charging $8000 for the option. Which is 4 times what it would cost me to do it myself.

I like that green, but feel the execution of the lines could have been better.

There's an orange/red one with wheels real similar to the old Rally's too. That one looks real good.

I think this is a single dealership that is doing these custom dealer packages

I think it is ok, but not great, but I do like that somebody is thinking about the old squares....and my hope is that after Ford drops the Bronco, GM will make a serious attempt at a K5 again...not that I could afford it.

This just caught my attention and I wondered what you guys thought...

Why cant GM just make a complete retro square body truck ?..
...or K5's ?..
The old two tone paint jobs looked great on the old square body trucks--not so much on these new ones...looks like they have stepside fenders front and rear...

Thank God I'm not the only one. Gimmicky dealer bullshit meant to up-price last year's trucks, and look silly while they're at it. Why not add some leaky valve covers and complete the experience?

The more I look at them the less and less I like them

I’m not a fan. I like the paint but paired with the front end it just doesn’t match up, I appreciate the effort but new needs to be new and old needs to be old. I like them both separately but not together when not designed for it. I wouldn’t mind seeing an attempt at a throwback design of a K5 to compete with the bronco either but I wouldn’t spend my money on it I can’t justify spending $35-40k on a 2 door suv, I wish they’d do a throwback truck. That would be sweet old school lines new tech underneath, I bet it would sell too.

and maybe a rear main as well!

IF....they could pull off a retro square body, I would hope they would have the designers that did the '12 Camaro get in on it.
those rally wheels look like they use the center caps from a 67 Vette.
