It's a small chip, off the end of one tooth. I don't know which gear it is; it's been a while since I had the case open. The case is sitting in my garage, taking up valuable space and collecting dust.

So is it a big deal? Or is it nothing to worry about?

Is it a chip on a gear tooth or a chip on a shifting collar ring tooth ?
A picture would really help . What is really important is to find out why a tooth was chipped ...... The gears in a 205 have a fair amount of contact but who knows what else was damaged ( hair line crack ) when that tooth was chipped .
Post some pic's .

It's definitely a gear; it's about an inch or so wide.

I can post pics later this week or next week.
