has anyone posted directions for installing a choke cable for the quadjet carb? i have a 79 blazer and it is difficult to start in the winter i would like to add this on to make it a little easier any help would be great!

Go to your local auto parts, I went to Advanced Auto, and get a choke conversion kit. About $10. Directions on card are simple enough. Hardest part is deciding where to locate cable end at the dash. Good luck.
Just make yours work! They didn't come from the factory non-operational.
