Just brought this back from Ohio saturday...It is totaled but has a clear title...It was my mom's truck and her husband was driving it and came over a hill and hit a cow broad side...Stupid kids left the gate open and the cows got out in the road...I will have it rebuilt in about 2 weeks...I got the truck for 770.00 from the insurance company...
This is what I have ordered so far for it...
New cowl induction hood...280.00
New core support...140.00
New aluminum radiator...140.00 (38 bucks shipping to get it here quick)
New Harley Davidson paintable headlight/grille surround...150.00
New factory bumper (getting cancelled as we speak hopefully, see below)
35x12.50x15 BF Goodrich A/T's (on another truck I bought a while back, so kinda free)
Soon to be ordered...
Dixon Bros. prerunner bumper...550.00
F-150 Front Right - Prerunner Trucks - Prerunner Maniac
Perry's Fab & Fiber flared low cut fiberglass fenders...300.00 (Red F150 on this site)
McNeil Racing: Flared Off Road Fiberglass Fenders, Bedsides, One Piece Front Ends, Bodies and Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass Dashes
A/C condenser...
Grant aftermarket steering wheel...(blown air bags)
Used factory headlights...
New clear corner lenses...
Aftermarket steel wheels...
alot of smaller odds & ends stuff will have to be bought new or from the junk yard...

Me and my brother pulling everything back straight...The wreck didn't put holes in the radiator or condenser...They were bent bad but not leaking...Thank god Ford designed the fan to set 7 inches from the radiator...I was driving it around the neighborhood after jumping on the hood and flattening it...

This is the wheel and tire combo that I will be using since I can't run 15 inch wheels...

The wheels and tires are going to run me about 1250.00 after shipping, mounting and balancing, I would of gotten the tire from the same place as the wheel but I'm not paying around 30 dollars more a tire when a tire shop will only charge me 10 dollars a piece to mount and balance them...

Dang, is this your "mid-tour break" ?? or you headed back for another year hitch??

This is what I accomplished in 2.5 hours today...

The hood removed...

Gotta love Ohio winters...Only rust spots on the whole truck...I think every Ford from the north is like this...
